Shapes such as crosses, circles and triangles are a very part of nature and our immediate environment. We have certain associations and attachments to them both good and bad. These are some of the manifestations that came from my inner workings with graphite on paper. The Solace series of work comes from a time in my life when tragedy struck the family, with the passing of both my older brother and father within a year of each other.
