Am I a unique individual with free will and self-regulation? Is my brain the master of my decisions, both conscious and unconscious? I find it intriguing that upon exploring the subtle realms of being, it seems humans may be closer to an illusion or some simulated reality. Physicists hit a roadblock, but I entertain the idea that answers lie inward, in consciousness. Philosophers like Plato and Descartes discussed living in a simulated reality, a concept gaining popularity in recent years.
