After an unsettling few months during recovery from a dog bite and drawing only on paper and smaller works, I finally came back to painting onto a large canvas. This was the first work that surfaced, whereby a mixture of bold and thick brushstrokes combined with drip marks melded into something quite exciting and vibrant. The title ‘Le tourbillon de la vie’, translates to ‘the whirlwind of life’, which describes perfectly the way I have been feeling.
