Following in the footsteps of Elysium, No. 1, Elysium, No. 2 continues the landscape of floating, cloud-like apparitions—ethereal forms that also resemble blooming balloons. Mysterious and ominous, this piece introduces the newly discovered electrical phenomena known as sprites, fleeting disturbances that flash across the sky in an instant. Jets of red electrical charges ignite the heavens, creating a striking display of nature’s power.
