As part of ‘The Vibratory Field’ series, this is a sister painting to the painting Ecstasy, which I completed several months ago. As soon as I had finished the painting, I knew I had to do another one, since I felt that the pairing of the two would be a nice compliment to one another, although I would not necessarily see it as a diptych.
