Arcadia, No. 2, as the name suggests, is the second artwork in the series relating to the mystical landscape of pastoral beauty. This second edition contains an ominous object or monolith that sits squarely in the painting, not unlike the structure that appears in Kubrick’s The Space Odyssey, a strange pristine metallic object that juts from the surface of the Earthen ground. This object is symbolic of knowledge and awakening.
