Stress enveloped me as I drove to the site. Negative thoughts and emotions swirled in my mind. I spoke cautiously, fearing triggers. I wondered how long this would persist and how I could cope. Is life a perpetually painful existence for the unaware? How can anger and bitterness reside so long when things don’t go their way?
