The fourth painting in the Arcadia series depict the Earth as the Blue Planet which is also the name of a documentary series by David Attenborough on the BBC. Earth’s surface is covered by 71% water. It floats in the mythical place of Arcadia, which forms the bases or setting behind which the imagination is allowed to soar. Abstract and conceptual ideas are melded into the terrain of traditional landscape paintings.
