Painting:
Bruised Khaos, 2019Acrylic on canvas138 x 91cm
Hong Kong, October 18, 2019. The weeks of protests continue in Hong Kong and my work is continually affected by the events. A division has been created between those that support the protestors and those that support the government. The greatest pain is seeing people being hurt physically and the violence that has ensued. Injustice is being provoked on both sides of the fence; a resolution seems insurmountable. In my painting, the skies and waters have darkened, but there is hope in the people yet.
