The triangle continues to surface in my mind, taking its cues from Elemental No. 3, which I completed several weeks earlier. It is with this painting that the triangle begins to resemble the Pyramid, although that was never the idea in the genesis of the Elemental series. Nevertheless, the feeling is conveyed, and seeing this painting in real would be the most ideal way to experience the artwork. The colours of Elemental, No. 5 are decidedly cooler, a departure from previous warmer paintings in the series.
