I have returned to a series entitled The Vibratory Field, where waves of speckled colours begin to resemble more like impressionistic landscape. It is a calming period. The lower portion of the painting is raw and gestural, while the middle portion becomes more controlled with the impressionistic dabs of paint, meanwhile, the upper portion contains a ribbon of colour ranging from blue to yellow, orange and red. This is the mythical land of Arcadia, a place of calm and serenity. The words Arcadia, Love, Beauty, Harmony, Peace and Love are pencilled on the top edge of the frame.
